Igarashi and Ishitaka are the bokkas of Oze. Oze is a vast marhland surrounded by mountains and those who make a delivery on foot are called bokka. The cabins, which take for bokkas three to four hours to deliver with 70~80kg of load, are open for only six months due to the long winter. They walk the same path every day and work tirelessly for families. Igarashi finds happiness in every moment whereas Ishitaka chases a moment of happiness that seems to be in the distance. He only speeds up to find his own bluebird in the absence of happiness.
